- DULIB - a GUI library for Lattice C 5.52
- ==========================================
-
- OK - Due to popular demand :) here is DULIB v1.3.
-
- (v1.1 never made it onto the internet, I only uploaded it to Andy Curtis'
- Ad Lib BBS, and v1.2 never went beyond my own hard drive.)
-
- This release I've compiled for a 68000 so that all Atari owners can use it
- 'out of the box'.
-
- The major additions from v1.0 are the form_popup() function, the keyboard
- handling, the text editor widget & AES4.1 iconify support, Editable Text
- objects, pseudo multithreading, but there are a few others
- as well...(mostly bugfixes).
-
- The text edit widget still has some bugs in it....sorry, they'll be fixed in
- the next release.
-
- The TEST directory contains a simple demonstration of how to use the library
- to build a simple program.
-
- As before, instructions for actually using the library are in the HELP folder
- (ST-GUIDE format), but they are not complete - there's enough to get going
- with though. They are more complete than they were though ;)
-
- Oh yeah - I've also included an incomplete (ie. only the Off-screen Bitmap
- functions) port to Lattice C of the EdDI ENHANCER / NVDI extended VDI calls
- library. This provides a similar functionality to MEMORY.SYS, but via a small
- TSR (ENHANCER.PRG), so you can use it without GDOS. NVDI also has the same
- functionality built in.
-
- NOTE: EdDI only deals with mono bitmaps (as does MEMORY.SYS), where-as
- NVDI can handle colour obm's as well).
-
- Doc's for using the calls came from the EdDI for Pure C distribution, but are
- in english.
-
- If you get stuck, Use The Source Luke......
-
- (full C sources included for the entire library)
-
- Enjoy,
-
- Craig.
-
- PS. This is (almost) the first time I've opened my own source code up for the
- world to see, so be gentle on me.....
